415 INTERNSHIP is where HEROES happen. The program is designed to provide the Hope, Engagement, Revolution and Outreach to take you from a flawed sense of identity, all the way to a H-E-R-O life. Heroes are people helping people. Heroes are Jesus-disciples. Heroes impact every sphere of life. For a HERO to rise, it requires the transformational power of a mentor. 415 is named after 1 Corinthians 4:15 as the Apostle Paul says, "For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [you do] not [have] many FATHERS; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel." This could be one of the most important years of your life. Experience a new way of integrating life, love and wholeness. Who you become will be the power behind what you do, and where you go. Find your God-given superpowers by laying the foundation for your life's calling.
HOPE
RESTORE IDENTITY
You were created in God's image, reflecting the glory of God. Sin traumatized your sense of Self, moving you to interpret God, ourselves and others with skewed templates. You will be restored in Jesus' love for you, His delights over you and His good mood to you. This renewed revelation of His love will prepare you to win in every sphere of life.
RENEW HEART
Everything you do, think and believe comes from the heart. Discover how to restore the heart and regulate the inordinate and bitter roots that keep springing up to defile you. Restore intimacy with God, intimacy with Self and intimacy with others.
REBUILD NEUROPATHWAYS
A renewed mind requires that we renew the emotional brain. Learn what causes the brain to compel inordinate behavior, and how to reprogram it. Discover the heart, brain and mind connection. The tools you will gain will give you an advantage for the rest of your life, giving you a legacy to give to your coming family tree.
ENGAGEMENT
EXPERIENCE MENTORS
Connect to skilled mentors who will believe in you, challenge you, bring out the best in you and show you how to live heroically. Sharpen your gifts and talents then push past your comfort zone through one-on-one development. Our Mentors are accomplished pastors, business executives, psychologists, physical trainers and college professors.
FIND FRIENDSHIPS
Build community within the church, beyond the internship program, with the opportunity to participate in a small group. This common intern experience develops "best" relationships that will be with you for a lifetime.
FASTING AND FITNESS
Pause, remove distractions, and grow closer to God as you engage in a time of fasting with other interns. Learn the power of devotional times by using a special tool developed at LifePointe. Also gain the energy and health to carry out your calling through weekly intern physical exercise schedules.
REVOLUTION
FUNCTIONAL BIBLE TRAINING
Learn the Jesus lifestyle and a secure attachment with God by learning the roots and transformation of compulsive behavior, the power of Christ's Redemptive work, the resident miracle authority that every believer possesses and who the Holy Spirit is for practical, everyday supernatural life.
FUNCTIONAL WHOLENESS TRAINING
Be trained in principles of functional health, using principles of Jesus, psychology and neurobiology. Learn your why you do what you do, your attachment style, how to install relationship boundaries, and how to regulate emotional chaos. Discover the tools to truly live free.
FUNCTIONAL LIFE-SKILL TRAINING
Explore your spiritual gifts, talents, personality profile and love languages. Be trained in personal organization, time management and leadership. Learn how God wants to work with you in your callings and assignments.
OUTREACH
CHURCH TEAMS INTEGRATION
Take ownership of tasks within various departments and gain confidence in your leadership. Develop skills in areas you didn't even know you had. Find new ways to live out your destiny.
LOCAL AND GLOBAL MISSIONS
Be a part of changing the lives of others in our community by serving with the many outreach organizations that partner with LifePointe Church. Take a global missions trip to one our global partners. Share/lead in city outreaches, minister to orphans, love students in schools and do construction tasks, that change the world.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Engage in special LifePointe Church culture training, sermons, and internal staff teachings from our Leadership Team, as well as interntational guest speakers. Learn how to craft a preaching message, lead intern Bible studies, how to operate in spiritual gifts and how to lead an organization. We will teach you how to lead yourself well, and then we will teach you how to lead others well.

ADMINISTRATION & EVENTS
- Provide support to office systems

- Plan and execute events
- Work alongside the executive suite administrative assistants
PHOTOGRAPHY
- Capture Sunday experiences on camera
- Photograph Groups, Workshops, Teams and Outreaches
- Maintain and organize photo library and archive
- Photograph creative projects
KIDSLIFE (BIRTH TO 5TH GRADE)
- Serve in KidsLife each weekend
- Research learning activities for kids ministry
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies
- Assist with volunteer communication
GROUPS (SMALL GROUP MINISTRY)
- Maintain database of Groups and Leaders
- Coordinate Groups events
- Planning and scheduling Groups communication
- Recruiting and assimilating new people into Groups
CREATIVE TEAM
- Research creative elements used for the Worship Experience
- Logistical planning for creative elements
- Order series collateral, t-shirts, resource materials
- Manage deadlines for projects requested
VIDEO/FILM TEAM
- Assist with managing/prioritizing video requests
- Coordinate props and costumes for video shoots
- Present ideas, participate in brain storming sessions
- Edit footage
AUDIO ENGINEERING
- Record audio for special engagements and meetings
- Record audio for video shoots
- Mixing and recording voice-overs
- Assist with special projects
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Design graphic materials for Worship Experience
- Create engaging visuals for KidLife, Outreach, Groups, and Volunteer ministries
- Design graphic materials and resources
- Design for other various mediums
DIGITAL DESIGN
- Design marketing campaigns and emails
- Enhance and contribute to building the LifePointe Church app
- Create content for mylifepointe.com and pointe.info
- Assist in web design for LifePointe Church websites
PASTORAL ROLES
- Assist the pastoral staff with daily tasks
- Develop preaching gifts with opportunities to speak and be coached
- Hospital visitation trips to minister prayer and connection
- Some counseling/coaching opportunities to our members
GUEST SERVICES
- Assist with all Guest Services responsibilities
- Support all volunteer leaders

We want to do what we can to help you get here, because there shouldn’t be anything that stands in the way of you pursuing God’s call/assignment on your life. Check out the details for transportation, payment, eligibility, housing and more.
COST OF INTERNSHIP
The cost of the LifePointe Intern Program is paid by the Intern's contribution to the LifePointe vision through ministry practicums, as well as the Intern's missionary partners (see Intern Compensation below).
INTERN COMPENSATION
As an intern we will help you be paid a weekly stipend of $150 to offset living expenses such as gas, food, etc. This stipend is generated by each interns network of relationships who are asked to become missionary partners with an intern. The process is simple, no pressure is placed on individual partners and the interns feel at peace about how partnership is executed.
Housing
Free housing is available for those who live outside of the Kansas City area. You will stay in a host home or in one of our other available housing options.
Transportation
The majority of your responsibilities will require that you have a reliable form of transportation. If you don’t have a working vehicle, there are options available upon request.
Work
Due to the nature of the LifePointe Intern Program, we ask that applicants not work an additional job while in the program. The internship requires many late hours and sometimes last minute requests that may conflict with your ability to work a second job.
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS TRIP
We desire that all Interns invest in one of our global missions trips. The funding for each Intern's trip is dependent on their missionary partner funding, or previous savings. The trip costs are around $1,500.

- FALL 2017: 9/5/17 - 12/17/17 (Deadline: 8/26/17)
- WINTER 2018: 1/8/18 - 4/22/18 (Deadline: 12/28/17)
Eligibility
The LifePointe Intern Program is open to young adults ages 18-25. If you are outside of the United States, a Visa is required. If you are older than 25 consider the LifePointe Apprentice Program.
